They were built-in when the building--a duplex constructed c. 1890--was converted into office space. So they're irregular in size. I've actually cropped some shelves out of the photos also, since they didn't have my books in them.

The first set of shelves (the part you can see, anyway) is 66.5" x 33" x 9.5" and in the second picture the height is the same, but the left-hand set of shelves is slightly less wide than the right--about 26" versus 27".

I've been able to fit 8 bookcases in my apt so far. The two shorter ones I'm probably going to replace with Finnby's next time I get out to IKEA, which may let me get one or two more boxes of books out
