Best Selling RPGs - Available Now @ DriveThruRPG.com
I love Two Little Mice, but I opted out of Outgunned because I hadn't even tried out Broken Compass at the time of the kickstarter. I figured I didn't need even more bad conscience on my shelves.

But damn does it look good. I very much look forward to a contrast and compare of the two games.
That was my decision making process, but I am feeling a twinge of regret looking at that photo, especially as I've been watching a lot of '80s action movies with my nephews lately (One highlight to share while watching Predator: one them pondered, "I wonder who would win if a Predator fought an Alien?" I told him he was not the first to ask that question.)

I just picked up the core rulebook for the new Marvel Multiverse RPG from Target for just over half-price. I don't know if it's good yet, but it's definitely pretty.

Christian Eichhorn is not going to continue reprinting his extended hardcover editions so I decided to pick up the last two that I was missing: Apocrypha and Hallowed. They arrived yesterday from SoulMuppet Publishing. His Mörk Borg stuff is usually pretty cool and stands out among the onslaught of zines and other supplements.

Finally took the plunge, and my copy of Joe Bloch's Swords of Wuxia arrived over the weekend. I wanted more of a Chinese flavor to my Oriental Adventures, and I think this might be helpful. (Also going to incorporate the Mad Monks of Kwantoom, just because they're so cool! And, they're Mad!) I was disappointed to see that there aren't Armor Class Adjustments in the weapons table from Swords of Wuxia. I mean, it says right on the back, "An expansion of the first edition of the world's most popular RPG." What says "first edition" more than Armor Class Adjustments, I ask you?

Good? Questionable, but it's something I've really wanted for 37 years since I learned of its existence: the Japanese version of my Tunnels & Trolls solo, Amulet of the S(tupid name that I will always regret). At my age, with [recent medical stuff] and [world stuff] it's shocking how emotional it feels.

I don' t know as we collectively call this "good" but it is remarkable, and not for the mere reason that it physically exists...

This is remarkable to receive because we never backed it. More'n a year ago, when we were considering a Big Trouble in Little... Kung Fu game, The Husband contacted the company/author inquiring about the status of this legendary overdue work. Apparently, from email address perhaps, the company logged us in on BackerKit and today we received the hardback. I cannot fathom how else they'd have our address. Especially since we've moved a dozen times since 2011.
Doesn't quite fit our current L5R5 campaign, but who knows who might be culled from the morass of this?

EDIT: Editor's addition comment... The book itself is wonderfully put together. Quality paper, good layout. Probably the same printer as Arc Dream & others use in China; good company, decent ethics. We're grateful to have been gifted the book. I'm sure there's ample material to steal, morph, and retro-fit to our house vivisection of game systems.

Brings up my total to three, new a few more to go with the other soft covers.

Mothership boxed set came today.

The bad news is the Kickstarter was so long ago I am off my horror sci-fi kick and it remains unopened.

The good news is that, at some point in the future, I will suddenly get back on a horror sci-fi kick and will love it.

I've in a Mothership game now based on the early pdfs. It's pretty cool. The game understands that lethality works better with quick chargen.

Mine’s still in transit, but glad to see people are getting them. Looks like mine will arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I was thinking I’d have to run Mothership at an upcoming Gameday event in a few weeks without a physical copy, but when I arrived home today there was a large box my wife left on the table for me.

The glossy embossed box has compartments for components (though honestly more than it probably needs). The books have a saddle stitched “zine” feel to them.

On a more serious note. Nice find. I keep hoping that DriveThruRpg will offer a PoD of it, so no that's a no go. I mean it's an adamantite seller and been on their site since 2018 and still no PoD?

Edit: I feel rather dense. You can find it, it looks like in physical form. Did a search and found this...

I'd found a Reddit from two years ago where someone asked about a physical book and someone linked that. Shipping from the UK has become a PITA though. Specially if they use DHL, I've had nothing but issues with them here in Tennessee.

Got these Kickstarter reissues in the post on Friday.

The 3 volume Dark Tower from Jaquays weighs a ton, when I picked up the box I was thinking 'what the hell is this?' as I usually get blu rays in the mail.

A bit poignant as when I pledged Jaquays was still with us. Hope we will still get a similar release of Caverns of Thracia.

I'm debating selling my box set, but it depends on the market and my mood in a few months.

Did you back Alas Vegas at some point? There was a cross-promotion that anyone who backed one would automatically get the other as well.

I'm hoping for that as well in regards to Caverns of Thracia. I'm still waiting for my books to ship. Hopefully I'll get a notification this week.

Edit: Just woke up to notice in my inbox that my Goodman Games Dark Tower books shipped.

Nope. Don't think we even own anything else by Adamant.
For background, Alas Vegas was James Wallis, not Adamant, but was another Kickstarter that many thought would never deliver. So it felt like a joke many years ago when GMS and Wallis announced that anyone who had backed either of their Kickstarters would get both books when/if they ever actually delivered.

Most backers were even more surprised that a) both did eventually get completed, and b) both GMS and Wallis agreed to honour their original promises.

You can get the Black Hack 2e core book at Exalted Funeral for $30. Only one copy left in stock, though!

Our local post just delivered unspeakable horrors that will oversee our gaming table (if they are not defeated by the local mad scientist kitties who are always testing the gravity response of things on that table).
Tsathoggua + Mi-go Queen.png
Of course, these are シン・ゴジラ & モスラ avatars of an irradiated Tsathogguan shoggoth colony and a transdimensional colonizing Mi-Go queen.

I got the final expansion for Talisman 2e (other than Dragons). I haven’t played with all the expansions for almost 35 years

Funny thing, I've been actually searching through eBay for Talisman 2e material to replace the long lost. I bought the Fantasy Flight version and just didn't grok it. It felt so much different than the old Talisman 1e/2e. Anyhow nicely done!

I was one of the more popular board games we'd play when I didn't want to GM. The players were always up for it.
I loved it as a kid and still really like it as an adult. I grab for Warhammer Quest before this if I'm playing solo but my wife will actually play Talisman so it still sees a fair amount of play.

FFG games always seem so over-complicated to me. We still play Chaosium's version of Arkham Horror, while FFG's sits dusty on the shelf.
