I know I'm late to the party as this was originally posted 5 years ago but surely this picture contains everything any Sci-Fi story ever needs.
Strange new world's, clunky robots, naked women trapped in glass alien brain domes. All the classics.
 
I'm not big into painters but I do love me some Caspar David freidrich since I randomly saw an Open University program on him whilst avoiding going to bed some time back in the day.

This one always stuck in my mind.it maybe doesn't have the same moodiness of some of the others it shows a French soldier pausing at the edge of the hostile German Forrest in the height of the Napoleonic era. Possibly thinking he should have taken that job killing giant rats in the Inn's cellar instead.

That’s the pathfinder book spot. There were a couple of 2e books on the side, but almost everything else was gone.

edit:

That PF2 cover art really just screams D&D, probably just as much or more so than the actual D&D 5E PHB cover (which doesn’t even have a dragon on it)
