I have a similiar issue with Vallejo and Julie Bell's comicbook paintings - they are so statically posed that there is no dynamic/living quality.

I look at the art of my favourite comicbook artists, and I can see them moving, living. With that sorta painted stuff it feels like I'm getting a posed photograph.

Inspector Gadget was a great show, though. Don Adams nailed that shit. It was like watching cyborg Get Smart.

Yeah, there's a few that aren't bad. IG, Real Ghostbusters, Jace & The Wheeled Warriors, The D&D cartoon, and Jem I can still watch without dying of cringe.
